TT Pottery gathers quotes from shipping agents to find the best rate.
2. Customer Approval
Customer reviews and approves the shipping rate.
3. Shipment Arranged
The chosen shipping agent books the container and provides booking details to the factory.
4. Loading the container
The factory picks up the empty container, loads the pottery, and delivers it to the port.
5. Customs Clearance in Vietnam
The shipping agent prepares and submits export documents to Vietnamese customs for approval.
6. Shipment Departs Vietnam
The container is shipped, and the customer receives an invoice, which must be paid within 5 days.
7. Arrival at U.S. Port
The shipping agent manages U.S. customs notifications and collaborates iwth a customs broker.
8. Customs Clearance in the U.S.
Duties (6% for ceramic pottery) are paid, and the shipment is released after inspection.
9. Deliverty to Destination
The trucking company will contact the customer to schedule delivery and transport the container from the port to the store.
10. Unloading
Unload approximately 20-24 pallets using a forklit. If requested, TT Pottery will tag retail prices.
Simply unpack the pallets, and the pots will be ready for display and sale.
11. KEY POINTS
Insurance: Shipments are insured for damanges exceeding 3%.
Minimal Communication: Customers only need to approve rates, make payments, and confirm delivery times
